According to Howard Gardner, the founder of “The Theory of Multiple Intelligences”, there are total eight types of intelligences. They are Verbal, Logical, Visual -Spatial, Naturalistic, Musical, Kinesthetic, Interpersonal, Intrapersonal. Each one of us have it in varying degrees. The type of intelligence in which we score the highest becomes our dominant intelligence. Means, the one in which we are very skilled and have immense potential. The one’s which we rank low in, are the ones we can improve or work on.
